Kutztown Spring 2014 Show Report

Now that the dust has settled, and I do mean settled. Thursday and Friday it was very windy.  Everything we have is covered in dust. Friday night it rain, so the dust turned in mud for Saturday.  But despite those few short comings the show for us was a success.  A few sales for Saturday helped, but I do think the crowd was down from last year for a Saturday.
This year most all our sales came from antiques.  In the past it's been a mix of folkart and antiques.  Our folkart buyers(dealers) didn't come this year.  Don't know why?  But that's OK, we still did very well.

Friday Kutztown Spring 2014 show report

Yesterday wasn't bad for us.  Nice weather again and a good crowd of people.  Had a number of sales and I'm pretty sure this is our best spring show yet.  Now if we can get a few more sales today, that will be the icing on the cake.

Thursday Kutztown Spring 2014 show report

Yesterday was a great start to the antique show.  The morning always starts a little slow, but by lunch things really pickup. The weather was sunny and a bit breezy and the parking lot was overflowing.  We had lots of sales and ran out of shopping bags.  Friday is usual slow for us.  We'll see.

Kutztown Extravaganza April 2014 Opens Today!

Well, almost done the setup.  This morning another hour then that's it.

2 days to go for the Antique Kutztown Extravaganza

The truck is just about loaded and we are planning to head out Wednesday around 10:00am.  For setting up the gates open at 12 and I think for us it will take about 5 hours to setup the booth.  We have a lot of stuff, this will be the most ambitious show we've done so far. Photos tomorrow evening.
Show opens 10am on Thursday.
