Our next show will be very close to home in Long Valley, NJ.  February 23, 2013. 

Sunday show report

Sunday is always a lot slower, but did have a couple of nice sales including some furniture. 
Overall a great show. 

Saturday show report

This was one of the largest crowds of shoppers I've seen at this show in years.  They must of all had cabin fever from the storm.  Our Saturday sales match the size of the crowd.  I even feel confident we'll have a few sales today.

Christmas Antique Show

This weekend is the Christmas Antique Show in Oldwick, NJ 
Saturday 10am -5pm
Sunday 11am - 4pm

 

Kutztown show report

Saturday turned out to be slow with only a couple of sales.  But overall this show topped our spring show in sales.  Talking to other dealers that have done these shows in the past, they say the spring show is the best with September 2nd and summer last.  I think we're on the right track and hope to improve on our sales in the future.
Next show will be in the beginning of December. 

Kutztown Thursday, Friday report

Thursday was a busy day.  Not sure, but might have done better than our spring show at Kutztown, and that was a good one.  Friday was slow as unusual.  Today who knows?

Show report

Despite the oppressive heat, we exceeded our goals.  In the past, hot outdoor shows are usually a bust.  Thursday was good, Friday fair and again Saturday came through with a few good sales topping off the day.  Packed up and left around 3pm.  

Thursday report

We sold a 400 lbs bell. Really glad to see it go. A few more smaller items. Today it's going to be close to 100, that's hot. Can't post photos, our Internet is down.

Kutztown Antique Show

Friday was a little show, but Saturday turned out to be a good day for selling.  Photos of our booth.

EXTRAVAGANZAS at Kutztown, PA

The show is going well for us.  Wednesday was set-up and had a few sales.  Yesterday was a busy day.  Sales where strong and very large crowd was in attendance.  Thursday is always a busy day, Friday and Saturday are slower, but you never know.  Pictures soon.

Auction review

Friday's auction was a waste of time, the prices we're to high.  We left around 1pm to avoid the bad weather that was heading to Indiana.  Got to Springfield around 6pm last night.  Today we'll visit the antiques malls and leave for home at the end of the day.

Indiana

Back in Indiana for a 2 day auction.  Left early Wednesday morning and arrived in the evening.  Bought a few things Thursday and hoping to get a few more items today.  Then this evening it's to Springfield, OH to shop the antique malls.

Long Valley show report

This show will be marked as a "OK".  Not the show he did last year, the crowds where down and that rush of people when the doors open wasn't evident this year.  Some dealers reported strong sales and a few mentioned that sales where down.  We talked to a lot of people, some new and a lot of past customers.  Still important be be out there.  It's all advertising.
Now onto the Mid-West this week and time to start thinking about our next show.

That's about as far as we got on the Long Valley show last night.  Today in a couple of hours it will be ready for the show.

Packed and ready

Everything we need is packed and ready for the show.  Now for that long, long drive of 3 miles to the antique show.  Tonight we get a couple of hours to setup our walls and lights and move in the merchandise, but it must be left in boxes.  Early tomorrow morning is the final setup and the show opens at 9:30am
